Owner / Chief Strength and Mobility Coach
Maria grew up with a natural admiration towards athletes. She competed for 13 years in gymnastics and participated in track and field, basketball and kickboxing. This passion fueled her to share the joy of what athletics and fitness has done for her to create a space where a community can come together in a positive and challenging environment to fulfill their ultimate potential.
Maria has been an athlete for most of her life as a competitive gymnast and in track and field and basketball. Fitness has been a passion of hers and she now strives to make it the same for others. As a mother of two children, ages 18 and 12, she knows it is possible to make time for yourself and stay fit. Her goal as a trainer is to motivate, inspire, and educate women, men and teens to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Maria says, “as I develop a relationship with each individual, my goal is to keep them motivated in ways that will make them want to come back for more!"
Maria has a natural ability to train clients in a non-intimidating way that pushes each "athlete" to achieve individual performance. Her goal is to help people move, feel and look better. She is a certified trainer through the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). She also holds certifications in DVRT Sandbag Level 1 and 2, the International Youth Conditioning Association, Level 1 and 2, and is CPR/AED Certified.
Maria’s specialties include Circuit Training/Small Group Training and functional training using tools such as TRX, kettlebells, and bands. Adding some kickboxing and boxing always adds a lot of fun! Maria makes sure that each athlete, even in a group setting, is getting the most out of each workout.
Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Bridget Skretta is proud to incorporate yoga to Forsa Training. After attending her first yoga class over 10 years ago, Bridget has explored and practiced several types of hatha yoga, but is particularly enamored with the vinyasa style classes. Linking movement to breathe, she is able to be present and focused. Bridget completed her 200-hour CYT at Zen Yoga Garage (RYS) in 2013 having studied under Piper Parker, Meg Meadows, and Monika Marynowski.
She wants to spread the word that yoga is so much more than just exercise! She creates thoughtful sequences that emphasize safe alignment, breath awareness, and self-exploration. She challenges students to use every muscle group which not only tests their bodies but also their minds. Her class will be sweaty, motivating and fun. She is so excited to be a part of the Forsa Family and can’t wait to see familiar faces as well as welcome new members. Each week she offers something new and different to keep the practice alive and inspired.
Bridget completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University with degrees in both Psychology and Dental Science, and continued on to St. Xavier University where she completed her Master’s Degree in Public Health and M.B.A. in Healthcare Administration. She currently works full-time as a Dental Hygienist and lives in Evergreen Park with her Husband Andy and their 2 “fur-babies,” Mondo and Mabel. She has a fierce love for family, lifelong learning, travel and adventure.

While not your typical childhood athlete, Tommette’s athleticism flourished as an adult. It all started with a simple walk. She and Leslie Sansone’s walk videos became the best of friends, as she credits Ernestine Shepherd, the world’s oldest female builder, as her ultimate inspiration.
She is passionate about helping others along their fitness journeys. Drawing on nearly 10 years of self-taught running experience, she began coaching and inspiring a running group for the last four years. In 2015, she completed over 50 races, ranging from a 2.5 mile cross-country run to three half marathons and her first duathlon. You can find her running outdoors year-round. She hopes her healthy lifestyle inspires her two children, ages 22 and 18, to become lifelong athletes. As for her grandson, born in May 2016, fitness is not an option!
Just like the Forsa model, she enjoys variety in her workouts. Her weekly fitness routine includes a mix of cardio, strength training and mind-body exercises. She’s excited to become a member of the Forsa strong team!
Tommette graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelors of Arts in Computing.
